# Alterar unidade 2 como principal

De forma a poder alterar a unidade alternativa de um artigo como sendo a principal, deve primeiro ativar o parâmetro ao Documento ***"Permite alterar a descrição da unidade sem afetar a conversão?"*****&#x20;**<mark style="color:red;">**(1)**</mark>.&#x20;

Com o parâmetro ativo no documento, sempre que escolher uma unidade alternativa de um artigo, essa unidade passará a ser a unidade principal.
